All the information given is related to the academic year 2018/2019. In the coming months a new Decree related to the School Leaving Certificate will be published in the Official Paper. This Decree compiles all the subjects of the curricula described by learning outcomes. 

More details about the present qualification: 

• Subjects: Candidates may choose all the subjects they want to study from a range of 25 different subjects;
• Grading system: A, B, C, D and Not Assessed (NA);
• Awarding period: 2 years.

Candidates go through national exams established by the Ministry of Education. Apart from that they need to write a research project and contribute to a social or community project.
