TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND THE REASONS FOR PROCESSING
Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, recorded addresses in URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the file size obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (complete, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment.
Such data, necessary to use web functions, is also processed to obtain statistical information on the use of services (most-visited pages, number of visitors daily/hourly, geographical location etc.).
Navigation data is not held for more than seven days and is immediately cancelled after its collection (except for certain necessary checks for illegal activity on the part of the police authorities).
The website may use so-called social media plug-ins, tools that permit the use of social network functionality directly inside the website (the Twitter “Like” function, for example).
All the social plug-ins inside the site are flagged with the respective copyright logos of the social network platforms (Google, Twitter and LinkedIn, for example).
When you visit a page of our site and interact with the plug-in (e.g. by clicking the “Like” button), the corresponding information is transmitted from the browser directly to the social network platform which proceeds to memorize it.
For information on the purposes, type and methods of collection, processing, use and storage of personal data by the social network platform, as well as for the ways in which to exercise your rights, please consult the privacy policy adopted by each individual social network.
Data communicated by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to each Enic-Naric centre contact address, indicated by each centre, results in the collection of the sender’s contact data, necessary to reply and provide information, as well as that of all personal data included in communications, including any attached documents.
Cookies and other tracking systems
No cookies are used to profile users, nor are other tracking methods employed.
On the other hand, session cookies (not permanent) are used in a way that is strictly limited to what is necessary for the safe and efficient browsing of the sites. The storage of session cookies in terminals or browsers is under the control of the user, as, on the servers, at the end of the HTTP sessions, information relating to cookies remains recorded in the service logs, with storage times no longer than seven days, however, as for the other navigation data.
